                      On December 10, the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and the US-Asia Institute co-hosted the fourth virtual visit of US Congressional Staff Delegation by organizing a video discussion between 14 US Congressional Staffers and Chinese experts on economy and trade. Ambassador Zhao Weiping, Vice President of the CPIFA, chaired the meeting. Dr. Li Wei, Director of the Institute of American and Oceanian Studies, Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC) and Dr. Zhou Mi, Deputy Director of the Institute, Dr. Wang Ruibin, Deputy Director of the Department for World Economy and Development at China Institute of International Studies (CIIS) and Assistant Research Fellow Ms. Zhang Yuhuan at the Institute, Dr. Huang Ying, Assistant Director of the Institute of World Economic Studies, China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) and Dr. Sun Lipeng, Associate Research Professor of the Institute of American Studies, CICIR briefed the US delegation on issues concerning the China-US economic and trade relations and the impact of COVID-19 on the Chinese economy and answered their questions.
