Co-hosted by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs(CPIFA) and the European Policy Centre(EPC), the China--EU Track Two High-Level Dialogue was held successfully in Beijing from September 23 to 24. Mr. Liu Qibao, Vice Chairman of the 13th CPPCC National Committee, and Mr. Herman Van Rompuy, President of EPC, former President of the European Council and former Prime Minister of Belgium, attended the conference as the Co-Chairs and respectively delivered keynote speeches and closing remarks. Mr. Wang Chao, President of the CPIFA, and Mr.Fabian Zuleeg, Chief Executive of EPC, moderated the meeting.

More than 30 prominent delegates from the political, economic and environment protection sectors of China and EU participated in the dialogue and had in-depth discussions on the topics “The EU-China Relationship-State of Play in Light of COVID 19”, “Cooperation to Mitigate Climate Change in Light of COP206 ”,“The Economic Relationship-the Investment Treaty and Beyond” and “Cooperation to Adapt to the Global Digital Revolution”.
