From 1 to 2 December, the Third China France Track Two High-Level Dialogue, co-hosted by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and the France-China Foundation (FCF), was successfully held. Mr. Ji Bingxuan, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, and Mr. Claude Bartolone, Former President of the National Assembly of France, as co-chairs, attended the dialogue and respectively delivered a keynote speech in the opening ceremony. Mr. Ji Bingxuan also made a concluding speech in the closing ceremony. Mr. Wang Chao, President of the CPIFA, Mr. Nicolas Macquin, Co-Presidents of the FCF, attended the meeting and gave welcome remarks.

The dialogue is held under the theme of “Upholding International Cooperation, China and France Join Hands in Tackling Global Challenges”. About 40 prominent delegates from the political, economic and environment protection sectors of China and EU participated and had in-depth and candid discussions on the topics “The China-France and China-EU Relations in Light of COVID-19” and “China-France Cooperation on Climate Change in Light of COP26 ”.
