On April 15, the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and the US-Asia Institute (USAI) co-hosted the Virtual Visit of US Congressional Staffers by organizing a video discussion on Chinese economic model between US Congressional Staffers and 5 Chinese scholars, namely Dr. Shi Jianzhong, Vice President of China University of Political Science and Law, Dr. Zhang Bin, Deputy Director of the Institute of World Economics and Politics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Dr. Xu Wei, Deputy Director-general of Department of Macroeconomic Research, Development and Research Center of the State Council (DRC), Dr. Luo Yuze, Deputy Director-general of Foreign Economic Relations Department, DRC and Dr. Zong Fangyu, Research Fellow, Director of Research of Foreign Economic Relations Department, DRC. Amb. Zhao Weiping, Vice President of the CPIFA chaired the discussion.
