From 7th to 12th March 2023, Amb.Wu Hongbo, Special Representative of the Chinese Government for European Affairs, headed a delegation of CPIFA to attend the X Global Baku Forum in Azerbaijan. The theme of the forum is “The World of Today: Challanges and Hopes”. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony and gave a keynote speech. Amb.Wu Hongbo delivered a speech in the panel of “China’s Role for Global Development and Security”.
During the stay in Baku, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Ali Asadov, and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev met with Wu Hongbo respectively. CPIFA Vice President Shi Ling and Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Guo Min also attended the above meetings.
